Pinocchio really stood out and not just because of his nose

It was obvious that the gentleman playing Pinocchio did his homework. From his high pitched voice to his on point dancing and line delivery, he was fantastic! The costume was also very clever . . . the wood like fabric and elbow and knee joints and of course, the free moving nose were very well thought out. The princess had a beautiful and clear voice. Lord Farquaad also played his character well with a clear voice and clever costume. Donkey did a good job with his high energy and his annoyingly teasing personality. (Say that 3 times fast!) The choreography was appropriate and the dancers all held their own well. Although Shrek was ultimately a lovable character, I felt that he struggled with his speech. We've been subscribers in the past and thinking about subscribing again. It's a cozy theatre with not a bad seat in the house. For us it is also conveniently located close to PATCO. It was a really nice evening for my husband and me celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary!
